"Sight" Survey  (SS19)

When a TrueCAD drawing file (.DRG) is imported into "Sight" Survey using the File > Import > Drawing routine, the Drawing Scale, Page Center, and Paper Size appear as if they were not imported.  This is an "appearance only" problem, and can be resolved by immediately using the

File > Save routine to save the drawing and create an associated "Sight" Survey (.ZAK) file. Then, simply reload the "Sight" Survey file using the File > Open (LO) routine and the Scale, Page Center and Paper Size will now be correct.

If you have imported an AutoCAD Drawing or DXF file, and the scale factor appears to be off by 12, do the following: 

1.  Issue a DX command to erase the drawing.

2.  Select Config > CAD Configuration and toggle the CAD Units from Feet to Inches, or vice-versa.

3.  Reload your drawing using Start > File > Load Drawing  (Do Not use the Open Drawing command since that will reset the CAD units.)
