"Sight" Survey  (SS21)

 

"It is a good idea to set your scale…," - Suppress this Start-up Message

 

 

When the message appears, check the box, "Do not show this message again," located near the bottom of the message box. 

 

If your version of "Sight" Survey does not have that option box available, you can edit the C:\SightSrv\Program\COGO.INI file using Microsoft Notepad. 

 

Load the file into Windows Notepad as follows:  Click Start, select Run, type the command: C:\SightSrv\Program\COGO.INI and press <enter>.  Remember to adjust the drive letter if necessary.

 

Look for the setting ShowScaleInfo=0 and change the setting to: ShowScaleInfo=1 

 

Exit Notepad, saving the changes.
