"Tips" Window Closes Too Fast

 

 

To keep the "Tips" window open, you can edit the C:\Windows\Simplcty.INI file.  Note: In Windows 2000 or NT, the location may be C:\WinNT\Simplcty.INI.   Use Windows Notepad to edit the file.

 

Load the file into Windows Notepad as follows:  Click Start, select Run, type the command: C:\Windows\Simplcty.INI (adjust as necessary if folder name is WinNT) and press <enter>. 

 

Look for the setting CloseTips=1 and change the setting to: CloseTips=0 

 

Exit Notepad, saving the changes.
