"Sight" Survey (SS29)
Adjusting the Snap Tolerance
If you find that "Sight" Survey is snapping to the wrong point when you use the Grab All or Nearest Point cursor, you may want to adjust the Snap Tolerance.
To change the tolerance, you need to edit the file COGO.INI in your \SightSrv\Program folder.
Load the file into Windows Notepad as follows: Click Start, select Run, type the command: C:\SightSrv\Program\COGO.INI and press <enter>. Remember to adjust the drive letter if necessary.
Look for the setting CAD2COGORange=.5
Change the value to .05
Save the Cogo.INI file (Make sure you do not add any formatting. It must be a plain text file.)
