Zoom to a specific point 

 

 

In the data entry window, type GT (GoTo) and enter the point number.  In the text entry window, the point coordinates will be printed.  Note:  If you do not want the coordinates printed in the text output window, use EC (Edit Coordinates)  or LC (List Coordinates) to find the coordinates of the known point and write them down.

 

Now type PN (or use Start > View>Pan).  When prompted “Center Display at Point,” press the letter C to open the coordinate entry window.  Type in the coordinates (to the nearest whole unit) as directed and click OK or press Enter.

 

The drawing will now be centered on the entered coordinates.  Type the magnify command, MG (or use Start > View > Magnify,) until you reach the desired zoom level.
