"Sight" Survey  (SS55)

 

Temporary File is to corrupt to recover 

 

 

This message may occur upon start-up when a temporary file is present but it cannot be recovered. The program locks up when loading, although all the screens appear.

 

1.  Open Windows Explorer (Start > Programs > Accessories > Windows Explorer or Start>Programs > Windows Explorer)

 

2.  Navigate to the C:\Window\Temp folder  (NOTE: folder may be C:\WinNT\Temp when running WinNT or Windows 2000)

 

3.  Delete these files: C:\Windows\Temp\COGO.* (probably 2 or 3 files)

 

4.  Navigate to the C:\Window\SightSrv

 

5.  Delete the file: C:\SightSrv\Program\Traverse.tmp file. (if there)

 

6.  Double-click FREEMOD.EXE to clean memory. Click CLEAN until all programs in the Sight Survey Watcher window show "Not Loaded", then click the X in the upper right corner of the window to close FREEMOD.

 

7.  Delete C:\SightSrv\Program\Cogo.INI

 

8.  Restart Sight Survey
