"Sight" Survey  (SS60)

Path/File Access Error  

This error may occur when saving a file, or exporting coordinates.

You cannot directly read or write to a data file on a CD from Sight Survey.  You must copy the data files (both .zak and .drg files) to the hard drive and open them from there.

This error is usually caused when data files have been copied from a CD, and the "READ ONLY" attribute is set.  Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the data file.  Right-click on the data file name. On the menu that appears, left-click the Properties.  Uncheck the Read Only attribute and click OK.

If you are on a network: You must have read/write/create/delete privileges for the Windows and Windows\Temp folders.
