Text is Missing on the Plot, or...

Plotter Fails to Plot All of the Text

This is normally a plotter memory issue, but it can also be caused by using a parallel cable longer than 10 feet.

If you are experiencing problems such as incorrect/incomplete text printing, missing drawing parts, etc., contact your plotter manufacturer for the most current driver and firmware versions for your plotter. 

HP Users:  Go to hp.com to download new drivers.  In your driver setup, usually under an Advanced Settings tab, make sure you select "Process entire job in the computer before plotting."  This will slow down your plotting a little, but will utilize your computer's RAM instead of your plotter's RAM, and it may solve your problem. 

On plots with a large amounts of text, such as certificates, legal descriptions, etc, you may also need to add additional RAM to your plotter.
