Can't copy points numbered above 32766 to another location

This is a non-fatal error. Click OK to exit the error message. This error occurs when you are copying a block of points from one location to another, AND the points you are copying are numbered higher than 32,766. It results from a data type problem in Sight Survey. If the points you want to copy are numbered lower than 32,766 you will not experience this error

There is a workaround.

For example, you have points numbered from 40,000 to 40,100 that you want to copy to a location starting at 20,000. First use the Renumber Points (RP) routine to renumber the block beginning at 20,000, then use the Copy Block (CB) routine to copy the points 20,000 to 20,100 back to a starting location of 40,000. (The 32,766 limit only affects the block being copied, not the destination location.
