"Sight" Survey
(SS01)
Running
"Sight" Survey across a network
If "Sight" Survey is being
run across a local area network (LAN), it is important that all users have
read/write access to the Program sub-directory. If users do not have access to
this directory, an error will occur when they try to load the program. The most
common error to occur under this situation is an "Access Denied" error, but the
exact error will vary depending upon your system setup. The user will not be
able to run the program until he has access rights to the "Sight" Survey
Program sub-directory.
The default name used for this directory is: Drive:\SightSrv\Program, where
Drive is replaced by the drive letter where the program is installed.
Related Problems: You may experience some network
printer related issues if you are printing to a Hewlett Packard printer.
